Manira Palm is an off-grid retreat nestled beneath the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, just 25 minutes from Marrakesh Menara Airport and around 30 minutes from the vibrant heart of Marrakesh.
The retreat generates its own solar energy, draws from its own water source and grows food organically, without chemical fertilisers or pesticides. Natural materials from the land are used throughout, while the team works closely with local artisans, guides and members of the surrounding community. But the philosophy at Manira Palm goes beyond simply being “eco-friendly”. It’s about creating a meaningful relationship between people, place and planet — honouring Moroccan culture, celebrating the natural environment and supporting the local community.
With a small group, daily yoga, nourishing food, and plenty of time to rest, explore and simply be, the experience is designed to feel personal, unhurried and deeply restorative.
During our stay, we’ll have exclusive use of the villa, pool and gardens, giving us a peaceful and private space to unwind. Alongside our yoga practices, there will be time to explore the surrounding landscape, with a day spent discovering the local nature and a special dinner out to experience some of the flavours and atmosphere of Morocco. For those who would like to explore further, there may also be optional activities such as Moroccan cooking, pottery, massage and traditional hammam experience.
Surrounded by nature and inspired by the warmth, colours and beauty of Morocco, Manira Palm offers a chance to slow down, breathe more deeply and move with intention.
I am delighted that Manira Palm has also been recognised with a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for 2025, reflecting the wonderful experiences guests have shared there.
